Visit to Revna & Rien in Gouda on 30-04-2010 with a nice car ride along the Reewijkse plassen

Today was also a gathering of the Indonesian students from Erasmushuis in Jakarta who were in the same class for Dutch Language, Revna, Yessi and Arinta had a lot of fun in their mother language Bahasa Indonesia.

Unfortunately, the weather on Queensday or "Koninginnendag" was not perfect, the morning started with rain, in the afternoon it was dry and in the late afternoon and evening the sun was shining,

The car trip along the Reewijkse plassen was very nice, we took a road that was wide enough for one car only , on the left and right side of the road there was water and sometime a few houses.

The neighbourhood gives the feeling that you are on a holiday, especially with the nice late afternoon sun, the nice blue sky and all the trees, plants and flowers starting to grow, get leaves and blooming.

Koninginnendag 2010

Friday April 30th 2010, Arinta's first Queensday or "Koninginnendag" as we say in the Netherlands, a new experience for someone from Indonesia.

Everyone should be dressed in orange, unfortunately, the weather was not perfect, the morning started with rain, in the afternoon it was dry and in the late afternoon and evening the sun was shining, therfore not everyone was visible in orange.

Walking trip

a nice long walk, from Drunen to Waalwijk, via de Heidijk and de Overlaatweg.

A small stop and a drink on the bench along the channel, than we went back a bit and went de Overlaet route.

This runs along the channel back to Drunen via de Klinkaert, back to de Heidijk and back home after 2,5 hours walk, nice weather, sun, hardly any wind and a good temperature to walk.

Saturday 24-04-2010 BBq in the back garden and pictures of the back garden.

Saturday 24-04-2010, a lovely sunny springday, with a blue sky and a nice temperature.

After visiting Tilburg, where we went to the center and the market, we went home for a BBQ in our back garden.

Of course for Arinta spring is a totally new impression, with all the plants, bushes and trees starting to bloom and grow, she likes to capture this by taking pictures of all new situation in the garden, especially the colorful flowers or bloementjes as she likes to call them.

Because of the nice weather, we also saw some air balloons flying over, it must be great travelling by air balloon and just enjoy the silence of the air and experience the area from above.
