When waking up sunday morning January 3rd 2010, it had snowed well, during the morning the sun started shining and it became a beautiful day, so I went out for a sunday afternoon walk throuhg winter wonderland in "de Drunense Duinen".
De Drunense duinen is beautiful national park, situated in the south of the Netherlands, between the villages Giersbergen, Drunen, Waalwijk, Kaatsheuvel, Loon op Zand, Udenhout, Biezenmorten and Udenhout, it is 35 km² (14 mile²) in area, it has been designated as a national park since 2002.
The area is perfect for outdoors activities like walking, nordic walking, running, biking, mountain biking, horse riding and dog walking, as in this area no cars are allowed.
In spring all trees and plants start growing and get in bloom, as if the world is waking up.
In summer all trees are green, with the beige color of the sand and the blue sky it gives beautiful views and pictures.
In autumn the colors of the trees change into yellow, orange and red colors, which give beautiful views and pictures, with the beige sand and blue sky or even when the weather is bad the dark or rough sky.
And finally in winter, when almost all trees have dropped their leaves and only pine trees have their green color it is nice, but when the weather turns this into winter wonderland, the result are these beautiful pictures.
