Tuesday morning 03-08-2010 we left for a touristic trip to Amsterdam.
A nice oppertunity was to travel by train, since the railway company NS had send us a letter with a reduction coupon for a free ticket for the second person travelling.
We parked the car at the Q-park in Den Bosch, which is close ot the railway station, bought the tickets and took the train to Amsterdam Central Station via Utrecht and Amsterdam Amstel.
Almost directly accross the railway station we took a 1 hour channel trip by Lovers, which gave us a good view of the Amsterdam channels and the history of Amsterdam.
Back from the Channel trip we walked via Damrak to the Dam and visited the sex museum and Madame Tussauds, where we saw the wax statues of famous dutch and international people.
When ending the Madame Tussauds trip we alked to the monument on the Dam where we sat down and took something to eat and drink.
After this refreshment we walked along the red light district, which is a touristic actraction of its own.
The return trip from Amsterdam to Den Bosch by train had a different route due to fire somewhere along the track between Amsterdam and Utrecht, after having a delay of 25 minutes the train went to Utrecht via Hilversum.
This part of the Trip is the boat trip through the channels of Amsterdam
