This afternone we went moutain biking in the Drunense duinen again, we already did half of the track in the past weeks, so this time we started halfway, to take the second half of the track.
The weather was good for moutain biking in the woods, in the mornig it rained a bit and the rest of the day was dry, the sun did not shine, but the temperature was o.k., of course the temperature was much lower than in summertime but with a temperature of 14 degrees and dressed for this temperature it was great riding the mountainbike track.
It was noticable that after practicing for a few weeks, the feeling with the track, with the bike, with the gears and with the shoe clickers has improved, also the strength when riding up the hills has improved, which gives you more satisfaction rding the track.
With the change from summertime to wintertime it will be more difficult to go for a mountainbike ride during the week, but if the chance is there, we will defenately go for a ride again.
After a 1,5 hour drive we went back home again with a good feeling, we had to work hard, but it paid off, also the total condition of the body improves and recovering from this straining is good (my spinning lessons are a good bisis for this too).
